Our lives changed forever when our infant son was diagnosed with cancer. Thrown immediately into a world of chemotherapy, hospitalization, transplant, infections, and complications - we fought daily alongside our beautiful, beloved, strong warrior for nearly 18 months. On May 12, 2010 we lost our sweet Collin to an overwhelming infection. This will be my journal as I grieve my precious son.

First Dream
I dreamed about Collin this morning.
He was so close, close enough to touch.
I was holding him. Sitting on the floor, Collin sitting in my lap as we have done so many times.
He was so close, close enough to touch.
I was holding him. Sitting on the floor, Collin sitting in my lap as we have done so many times.
My arms around him. I put my lips to his head. Kissed him as I have done so many times.
I could feel his little bit of fuzzy hair against my face. I love that hair. I love that head.
We played Patti-cake.
Patti-cake, Patti-cake a baker's man
Bake me a cake as fast as you can
Pat it out, roll it out and throw it in the pan!
Bake me a cake for my little man.
I love you, baby. I miss you.

Too Cute Tuesday
Birthday Boy Pictures
My alligator, how interesting
But I'm done with it!
In fact, I'm out of here.
Wait a minute, what is this?
Mama, you're funny.
Kinda funny.
I'm thirsty!!
No, not a balloon, thirsty!
Mama. I mean it. Daddy, please stop taking pictures.
I'm hungry!
All done, baby

Three Months
It has been three months since I looked into my sweet baby boy's eyes and told him that I loved him.
Three long months and one day.
One more morning, one day closer to you, my sweet Collin
